The Garden Room at Wing is just 1½ miles from Rutland Water, five minutes
from Uppingham, ten minutes from Oakham and fifteen minutes from historic
Stamford in Lincolnshire.

It is ideally situated for visiting Rutland Water for cycling, walking, bird watching,
golfing, fishing and sailing or just relaxing in the beautiful surrounding countryside.

Business people will also find the property's privacy appealing.

THIS IS A NON-SMOKING PROPERTY.

Off road parking is available adjacent to the property which is approached over a
gravel drive at the end of a single-track lane.

ACCOMMODATION:The Garden Room is a converted stable which has undergone complete refurbishment to a high standard and is double glazed and heated throughout.


The rooms are at ground floor level.

The accommodation comprises of a sitting room / kitchen area,
bedroom with a king-sized bed and ensuite wet room with shower  

The comfortable sitting room has a colour television with freeview, DAB digital radio,
reclining leather armchairs and a remote controlled electric fire.

The kitchen area has a fitted cooker with halogen hob, refrigerator and microwave oven,
together with all kitchen utensils and crockery.

A welcome pack is provided with our compliments

Linen, towels and bathrobes together with energy costs are included.

The accommodation is set off the road in a delightfully peaceful garden setting in one of Rutland's most beautiful villages.

VILLAGE ATTRACTIONS: The Kings Arms is a very agreeable village public house and offers an extensive menu and wine list and is only a minute's walk away. The lanes surrounding the village are designated as byways and the area is a paradise for walkers and cyclists.  

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS: The historic market towns of Oakham and Uppingham and Stamford are only a few minutes away and Rutland Water is within walking or cycling distance. Peterborough, Leicester, Grantham and Nottingham are all within easy reach.
 
Rutland Water is a major attraction and the largest man made lake in Western Europe. It is renowned for its wealth of leisure and sporting opportunities in addition to a wildlife conservation programme, including an Osprey breeding project. Rutland Water, with its sailing club, bird watching centres, fishing lodge, rock climbing block and cycle hire shops is a perfect base for a host of leisure activities:

£60 per night. £350 per week (7 nights).

AWAY ON BUSINESS? Are you a business man or woman looking for midweek accommodation? A single occupancy rental is available for Monday to Friday. Please call for availability.

GETTING YOU STARTED: We can do your food shopping ready for your arrival and we know where to find locally produced items including organic. Just let us know what you would like and we will do the rest.

HOW TO FIND US:  From the A47 take the Oakham Road from the roundabout outside of Uppingham. After two miles turn right signposted Wing and Morcott. After two miles turn right and follow the road to enter Wing village. Pass the Kings Arms on your right (resisting the urge to stop at this stage) and turn left into Church Street. After fifty yards turn left up a slope into The Jetty and proceed to the end entering the drive of no. 9 The Jetty.
